On a real check, one click sends the unindexed URLs to the indexer. Your 10 free signup URLs are used first, then credits, and a credit comes back if Google has not indexed the URL after 7 days.
How the index checker works
Three steps from a list of links to an indexed list.
Paste your list
Up to 500 URLs per check: your own pages, guest posts, citations or any backlink. Duplicates and lines that are not URLs are dropped before anything is counted.
We check each URL against Google
Each URL is looked up in Google's index. Small checks finish in about a minute and large ones within about ten. We email you when the results are ready, so you can close the tab.
Index what is missing
Unindexed URLs are listed first. One click sends them to the indexer, and you only pay for the ones that get indexed.
When a check pays for itself
A check costs about a hundredth of an indexing credit. These are the moments it earns that back.
After a link-building delivery
Vendors report links as live. A check shows how many Google has actually picked up.
Before you pay to index
Indexing credits are worth far more than checks. Check first and submit only the URLs that are missing.
Client reporting
Download the result as a CSV and show which pages and links are in the index.
After a migration or a big publish
Paste the new URLs a week later and see what Google has taken.
What a check costs
Checks are paid with credits. 1 credit covers 100 checks, and checks you do not use stay on your account.

Is the index checker free?
Checking is metered: new accounts start with 10 free checks, and after those it is a paid tool. 1 credit covers 100 checks, and the smallest pack is USD 5 for 5 credits, which is 500 checks. Credits never expire. Indexing itself stays free for your 10 signup URLs.
How does it check whether a URL is indexed?
Each URL is looked up in Google's index as an exact address. The answer is a snapshot: indexed or not indexed at the moment of the check. A slightly different address for the same page, such as one with or without a trailing slash, can give a different answer.
How long does a check take?
Small checks usually finish in about a minute and large ones within about ten minutes. You get an email when the results are ready.
How many URLs can I check at once?
Up to 500 per check. You can run as many checks as you have credits for.
Do I need Google Search Console?
No. The checker works on any public URL, including backlinks on sites you do not own.
What happens if a URL cannot be checked?
If no result comes back for a URL, that check is returned to your balance. A result of not indexed is a real result and is not returned.
What can I do with the URLs that are not indexed?
Send them to the indexer from the results page in one click, up to 200 URLs at a time. Your 10 free signup URLs are used first, then credits. A credit comes back if the URL is still not indexed at the 7-day check. Broken, blocked or noindex URLs are not recredited.
Can I export the results?
Yes. Every result can be downloaded as a CSV with one row per URL.
